I'm electronically illiterate. If I hav an Amer spec iPad, how do I connect to 3g network? I saw Vodafone has a 3g USB, is that compatiable? Is there something I have to unlock like the iPhones? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!! 

You have to have a 3g account like you do with your cell phone. 

So any carrier provides it? The US site says AT&T or Verizon. What about being international? 

I would just take it to vodafone and ask what you need to do.

It should be unlocked, three do a very good microsim package that will work for £15 a month. I have that in mine. Reception around lakenheath village is not too bad, however i am based out of RAF Marham and coverage is rather lacking out that way, but most suppliers can get you the correct sim card although i find vodaphone expensive myself
