I live in Lordswalk, but i do not have a fence in the backyard. Has anyone recently paid to get a fence put up? if so, about how much were you charged and does anyone know of any reasonable prices? Because my neighbor heard that some people spend up to 800pounds, which i dont want to believe. Please if any advice or suggestions feel free to email me.

Aren't they planning on handing that dump back to the Brits in the near future? Don't know if I would be investing too much in a place that may be history soon...

Kent Blaxhill was good for prices. Panels are cheaper at HomeBase and the posts are A LOT cheaper at Kent Blaxhill.

We put our own in and it wasn't an issue..the limestone makes it a bit difficult but nothing a good sledge hammer cant handle. 

Thank you. But since im hearing that Lordswalk base housing may be no more.I might just wait but it does make sense to build one now & if they do remove the base housing take it with me & possibly sell it to someone else who needs it.

Lords walk will be here for sometime in the next 5 years or so so wouldn't get my hopes up about moving! I also was looking for fencing and found them for under $100 for the entire half fencing (which we only needed anyways) on lakenheath yard sales.com. Although it is very rare so just keep looking. I did and it paid off! :-)

I thought they were keeping lords Walk for quite a while and making all new personnel under a certain grade move in there.
(To be fair I must declare an interest in Head Gardener as it is my husbands business but please give him a call he does good work and charges a fair price, ask around if you like as quite a few people on Lords Walk and other USAF use his gardening service.)
