I know that there has been a similar post, I just couldn't find it for some reason.

I am pregnant, and would like to find out the sex of my baby sooner than when the base tells you. I was wondering if anyone could offer some nice ultrasound places within 45 min. driving distance from the base. If you have a site that I could look at that would be wonderful. Also any prices. Also, could you tell me what you have to do if you want to go off base for an scan? Do you have to get a referral, even though insurance doesn't cover it?

Way to old for you youngins. 

A question for those that have gone off base: Can you just go to these places without a referral or anything?

in Cambridge about a 45min drive. Usually you don't need a referral as it's a private company. We had to pay 80pounds out of our own pocket but for us it was worth it.
They ran out of printing paper and couldn't find anymore so they went to 4d (which usually costs extra) and made us a CD.
They were really nice! =)
