I hope it's okay to post this topic.

Applied for BRP on 9 June 2012. It's been a month and no reply from the home office regarding biometrics.

I know that active duty doesn't have to do this; only the dependents. The base passport office stopped doing the runs for us. So I went postal route. Big mistake. Now I can't retract the application without starting over.

Has anyone gone through the complete process successfully? How long did it take? For getting a biometric letter? For getting your documents mailed back? Any other information would be helpful.
