Hey,

So I was wondering if anyone knew where to go to get fitting for trainers. I know back in the states they have stores where the people look at your foot shape and can help you pick out the right shoe and you can even do the treadmill test. Is there anything like that here?

I'm training for tough mudder and my current shoes are in the process of a slow and agonizing death.

We go to a place in Bury called Runabiliaty for Gait Analysis.

For a a mud course however, I use my OLD shoes that I don't run in anymore. They get destroyed in mud courses. Since there isn't a set training you can do for mudders to get used to the courses and obstacles it works out really well on the day of the race.

Thanks, I'll check them out. I plan on wearing my crappy shoes during tough mudder but I want some new shoes for training.

Another option is Advanced Performance in Cambridge and Peterboro - this is where I send my patients. Additionally, the Lakenheath hospital physical therapy clinic hosts running clinics, if you're an ID card holder with medical benefits.
