Does anyone know the opening times for the BX & BXtra on Friday? 

I know the BX opens at 8:00 on Friday, 9:00 on Saturday, and 10:00 on Sunday. My husband just rode by there and read the flyer on the door to be sure. Don't know for sure about the BXtra.

Yes, I'd actually asked them when I was in there Tuesday--the general AAFES Black Friday ad online says something about 4:00 a.m., but the sales clerk looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they'd be opening at 4:00. I guess some BXs are doing the whole crazy Black Friday schedule, but not this one. :) 

We just came back from the Black Friday "sales". Lame. Period.

We squeezed through the masses only to see nothing worth wasting our time over and turned around and went home. Thanks RAFL's BX for putting on a magnificent sale. I was sleeping peacefully up until the point I got woken up to see what crazy deals they had. 

Nothing we really wanted either. Not as good as other black Friday sales we've been to. Kadena's were awesome. Oh well, I'll just keep my mpney instead.

Agreed. :) I went but didn't see anything I wanted either. But I DID notice a lot of items posted on LYS shortly after the BX opened. Hmmmmm...

I didn't want to drive out there, but I did--just for the one thing for my boy. Of course the BX didn't carry enough (do they ever have enough of anything in the flyer?) so they were gone. I am NOT surprised to see the dirt bags listing brand new ones here for more than they paid for them.

I agree, why don't they carry a TON of the items, knowing people would buy them? Is the limitation supposed to be some kind of marketing tool? Cuz it only seems to add to all the violence that happens on Black Friday. 

We were in line an hour early and missed out on pretty much everything we wanted, too. Just FYI, Amazon had, and still has for Cyber week, many of the same items AAFES advertised at the same price (or very close) + free shipping. We were able to get everything we wanted at the same price or cheaper from there. We looked at Amazon AFTER braving the mass chaos--lesson learned.

I'm glad to hear everyone else experienced the lameness of the BX :) It's worse when you think you just didn't get there soon enough.

Aafes can't even compete any more since Amazon honors the no-tax and offer free shipping.

Boooo Aaafes! Maybe we should start an "Occupy Aafes" protest ;) LOL 

We were there trying to get things for the squadron Christmas party (since its this week we couldn't do amazon), as I noticed we weren't the only one there for that reason. Hopefully they enjoy the prizes as we stood out there at 4am to get them prizes!
