Just to let you all know that Duxford has free entry this Sunday for Remembrance/Veterans Sunday. It's a great museum that holds many different hangers. There is the American Air museum with a B52 and a Blackbird 'spy plane'. The land Warfare museum, Battle of Britain, Airspace museum where you can go inside Concorde, a 1940 operation room and a prefab bungalow. Inside the airspace museum go upstairs and let the kids explore the interactive exhibitions. Also there is the conservation hanger where you can see the aircraft being repaired or rebuilt. Also a small park is outside to let your children burn of some energy. There is a restaurant with a good menu, drinks and cakes or take your own picnic.
Normally this is 16.50 pounds for adults and free for under 15 years old so go and enjoy a free day out.
