Word on the street is that Popeye's was shut down due to mold and then inspectors found a lot of rat droppings. Eeeeewwwww! Anyone know anything about it? 

I know they got "Poor" on their inspection last week. 

lol if you only saw the pics that were sent around... they should just tear the place down... 

My hubby was telling me about this today! He didn't tell me any details because I didn't want to be grossed out at the time. Without even knowing the details I told him we would just NEVER eat there again!! They should shut it down if it was that bad!! 

Good thing I can't stand Popeye's. Their gravy just plain grosses me out. Who the heck puts veggies in their gravy!? Blasphemy! I think in our 3 1/2 years of being here....I've ate there twice. I didn't finish my food either time.

I used to work in a place in "Quitman Georgia" called "MicroCraft". We made parts for the auto industry. I worked in the warehouse. Anyhow, I spent Thanksgiving Day working and as such during our lunch break we had our own Thanksgiving dinner at work.

Anyhow, I got the food and walked back to my warehouse. I sat down and dug into my 'taters and I was shocked to find out they put scrambled eggs in the gravy! Weird!

I'm just used to normal ol' gravy. Popeye's was a little too over the top for me. It made me miss Church's Chicken...or even KFC! 

Wow we just ate there the other day. It was not the best place but I liked eatting there until I read this. Yikes 

I got the pictures on my computer. They are gross. 

My hubby sent me the email from work including all the written reports and the pictures, I have never seen anything so gross. I would love to put it on here but have no idea how.
I ate there with my parents last tuesday, ew, the thought of all those RAT dropping near my food grosses me out.
Jessi, I agree with you, it should either be pulled down or closed for a month so all the holes can be repaired so the rats cant get in and a full deep clean can be done. Rat traps are on the floors behind the counters now, thats just wrong. Im sure if this was a food outlet in England or the USA it would have been shut down till it had all be repaired and the rats had gone. 

I would love to put it on here but have no idea how.

I want to see pictures. I wonder if my husband has the email? I will ask him about it. He may have skipped over it and not realized. We ate there about once a month. The last time was last week. Eeeewwwwwwww!

I drove by today and they are open...think they were open a few days ago to when I went by. People were eatting in there. Guess it was not that bad since they are open less than a week from this being posted.
