I made the "link" after I already made the initial post. The forum doesn't allow hyperlinks after a post has already been made. That is to say, I don't remember how to do it by memory. Rold Golds....remember?
I wanted to add, this topic (online shopping) has reminded me of something I just read.
I imagine many of you (myself included) use Paypal. Well, it was mentioned today that a "Hacktivist" group in support of Julian Assange (or however you spell it) is planning to do a DDoS (Denial of Service) attack on sites that dropped support/service for Wikileaks in the past few weeks.
What this means is this group is planning on sending so many requests that the website will crash. Amazon and Paypal (among many, many others) are on this list.
(in this case "request" is the equivalent to "data". This is the same way the Wikileaks site was brought down a few days ago....they reported a data amount of 10 GB PER SECOND coming in prior to the system crashing. That is ALOT of data coming in at an alarming rate.)
So, likely in the not-so-distant future Paypal will not be repsonding. i just wanted to give everyone that likes to shop online a heads up. I read about this on the news this morning. I am an avid online shopper so, this move sucks! But "Que Sera Sera" I guess.
Has anyone ordered from this site? Are the products legit? I am considering ordering a GHD flat iron and the prices are too good to be true and i was curious if anyone had ordered through the site? Hi here i guide you with some tips to check that whether the site which you found online is legit or spam one .They are
1. First do whois search for the site at Whoisxy.com here they display all details about the site like domain owner name ,address , phone number ,email id .Use those informations and check that whether they provided correct information or not .
2. Then read reviews ,feedbacks about that site in forums, blogs.
3.Then check their payment options ,cost of their products with other sites .
If all the above details provide satisfied results for you then you can start purchasing your product.Else dont waste your time and money with them better keep them away. I also did whois search for the site Shoesby.com at the above site which i mentioned here .....The details displayed there seems to be legit.....
