Has anyone been to the inner circle of stonehenge and how long did it take to approve your access application? we just got turned down for this weekend, guess there is long wait. any recommendations on when a good time is so not turned down again?(I think ITT does an inner circle trip but we want to go on our own.)also, anyone been to Monkeyworld where they film the BBC show? any pro's con's?

This is an extremely popular event. We just did this last Sunday (29th) and it was SO worth it!!! I booked back in June. I ended up having to call and just go thru the calendar with the Rep. to find an open date, they sell out very quickly! I do highly recommend the experience though, it was truly amazing.

Sorry can't help you with Monkeyworld. We did go to Longleat House and Safari Park and in my opinion that was not worth it at all.

Re: Stonehenge... I don't know much about the inner circle tour but if you're interested in getting into the inner circle and actually being able to touch the stones etc. I highly recommend you try going during one of the solstice celebrations. It is a phenomenal scene, even if you aren't Pagan. You have full access to touch, photograph, explore etc. the entire area freely. Granted it can be a bit crowded, but it is worth it, to be honest. I went twice; Once during the Summer Solstice (highly recommend) and once during the Winter and they were brilliant.

Not that I think this would be an issue with you but its imperative that I put this out there to anyone else looking to go... Its very important that you are respectful when you attend during these celebratory times. There are attendees that consider the stones and the energy/power they possess as one might a holy relic pertaining to their own religion. I think that was the only downside to going to those celebrations...

Whatever you choose it is a phenomenal place. I hope you get to the inner circle! Best of luck to you!

*what I meant to say was they consider the stones holy relics and people disrespect them while visiting the site.
