They have finally done it. Now, as we have all become addicted to using the sites, they slowly have dwindled down what you get with a free account. When LYS first started it was unlimited items with pictures. Now, once they have us, it is down to 10 items and NO pictures!! They gave us "crack" and we got used to it so now in less than a year they are getting their money out of us. If you go to other sites you will see the same thing, but only when they have acheived a certain size customer base in that area! Some sites went to pay for pics really quick! Up to then you get the goods but when they hit there mark...WHAM...start paying us. It would not be so bad if they gave notice but, they just wait until they have the numbers and zap it in. I am not saying the service is a bad one so keep your comments off that beat. I am saying the way they went about it was shady!! And if you hear the excuse it costs them more to host sites with more picutres and such, that is rubbish as hosting fees are dirt cheap people. You can run a small company website and have it hosted for less than $10. Anyway, there are a lot of free services out there that are truly here to provide a service to our military families, not play us, bait us, then pull us in like sucker fish. The Yard Sales sites ARE NOT military affiliated nor military owned/ran. They are two guys out of Texas who used to work for Exxon oil...no military affiliation what so ever. Take that for what it is worth. Support your military ran home businesses and your military family.  

This is catered for the military isnt it? I was surprised how expensive it is to have a 1 month membership. Not really worth it and this place is overrun my commercial businesses now esp the car sales with outrageous dealer prices.

NO, NOT catered for military at all nor military affiliated...we are just a good target market. They think they have us now that they gave us a taste...and they wait until just the right time on all their sites...many will start paying now as there is nothing else....yet. The car section is the same 3-4 dealers...should be more military to military.

Yes, I am military and hate seeing our military family played.

They are provding a classified website. Besides the newspaper what else is there? Craigslist? But yeah I noticed there is a XYZ Yardsales at most military bases. 

Like I said...it is the "IN" site right now but, to go about the quick dwindling of what you get with accounts so you can start charging for them was done very underhanded, shady, and without respect. It is obvious they only have one main goal and it IS NOT helping military families. 

I was a part of the "decal club" but the DAY I put the sticker in my back window the window got smashed out by vandals! In Mildenhall Village!!!

They were feeling the pressure to do SOMETHING for the military finally!! They stripped the pictures and everything else from the accounts so now we have to pay, which was the plan all along as they have done it with all theri sites...so I guess this is our consulation prize.
