i have been trying to get out more, but only have a few friends here. am trying to find people that like to go dancing and have fun. maybe someone that would like a friend to work out with.

here in UK --- 15 years ago -

howold are you? Are you married? kids? How long have u been here? Weve been here 2yrs, no kids

honey --- 15 years ago -

what do kids have to do with a friendship, if you really were a true friend then you would not care if your friend has kids or not just my opinion

Pamela --- 15 years ago -

Honey: Someone you are just trying to meet and make a friendship wouldn't be "yet" considered a true friend. I think Marissa is lookin for someone with similar interests so Guy asking about kids is a reasonable question. Of course, kids wouldn't make a difference if you are already friends, but will make a difference is starting new friendships. Hope you find someone to hang out with Marissa.

here in UK --- 15 years ago -

Honey: You have issues... I wouldnt define someone I havent personally ever met a true friend. Obviously you have no life and your "true friends" are only net friend. Personally I didnt see anything wrong with the questions, there general information questions.

honey --- 15 years ago -

lol i have issues..i never said that marissa was your friend..i was implying if you were trying to find a friend, age, kids, and gender or ethnicity, or religion or any of that should really play a role in who your friends are...but whatever lol baby haters go on say as u please..everyone i suppose has different standards for friends..personally i would not have asked how old are you, are u married, or do u have kids..i would have said what other things do you like to do..maybe we could meet sometime but i personally know people that do not have children will not hang out with other people with children, but i just say it's their loss just because someone has kids does not mean they do not deserve friends..or just because someone is 10 years older or younger than you does not mean you can not become friends and the same for marriage..have an open mind..quit being so damn picky

honey --- 15 years ago -

i am not saying each person that does not have children will not hang out with people with children..i just say uhmm...the majority!! I don't care what anyone thinks about my opinions..net friends??lol i am not the one coming on here looking for friends (no offense marissa)

honey --- 15 years ago -

I do not want to be friends with really any of the people on this site..they are pretty much pyscho! i have friends I made myself personally not virtually

Marissa --- 15 years ago -

wow, didn't mean to start conflict. i have two children but am looking for someone to hangout with outside of my home and family life. though of course friends that have kids and want to have play dates is fine. i am trying to find someone to work out with and go to the club with. maybe shopping, lol. i am young and don't really want to put my age, because i tend to be judged on it.

Marissa --- 15 years ago -

none taken honey, i have net friends, and friend i talk to that are back home. here i have like 2 and am driving at least one of them nuts. it is hard to make friends when you are a stay at home mom and have trouble getting out. not to mention i am just now getting my license.

Mrs. S --- 15 years ago -

Marissa I know what its like, I am a young spouse and I get judged for it a lot.

honey --- 15 years ago -

I understand..yeah if I consider my friends that i communicate back home through the internet..i suppose they are net friends!! for that case I am sure we all have a net friend or two! it took me several months to get my license not that i was scared but as soon as we got here i had my daughter and was too consumed with my two children to take time out to get my license..how old are your children

honey --- 15 years ago -

marissa and mrs. s..i dont ever get judged for my youthful age..but get surprised reactions :)

lalaro --- 15 years ago -

I have 14 kids and I live in a shoe. I need friends or a better birth control option.

Marissa --- 15 years ago -

my son is 3 years old and my daughter is 7-8 months. i will admit i was scared to get my license here, lol. driving from london and then when we got to the road to our house almost getting hit because the road was to narrow that kind of sets you off of it, lol.

Marissa --- 15 years ago -

lmao lalaro

honey --- 15 years ago -

no i understand some people are scared to drive over here..it's probably more comman than you know..14 kids wow..lol

here in UK --- 15 years ago -

Wow.. someone is on a trip about nothing.. You act as if you know me or anything about me. Honey, your the psycho here. Your what gives this site a bad name. Thanks for judging me and not knowing me. How do you know Idont have a kid? Oh you dont cause you know nothing about me. B!tch...

wifey (Mod) --- 15 years ago -

I am a young spouse too! Also looking for a work out buddy:)

Marissa --- 15 years ago -

you posted that you have no kids and have been here for two years. i really didn't mean to start conflict. i am just tired of being bored and not having anyone to go to the club with, lol.

Marissa --- 15 years ago -

woohoo, where do you live? i live right off of raf lakenheath in lords walk housing.

wifey (Mod) --- 15 years ago -

I'll message you on here!

honey --- 15 years ago -

GUY!! ahh read ur first response to this post..Yes I am a b!tch..I have earned that title..what is it to you?

honey --- 15 years ago -

Guy..it seems pretty funny how you 'act' like you want to make friends..but you have poor interpersonal skills..(you do not know how to talk to people) also what a way to show people what type of person you are..you said i am fast to judge...lol but you want to start calling people names such as b!tch! I think you are the one fast too judge! go spray tan

Julie --- 15 years ago -

Where are all the old people?? heehe

Cassie --- 15 years ago -

Well, it is a proven fact that birds of a feather flock together. Therefore, finding a person similar minded in a similar situation is the best way to find a friend. I am not saying you need EVERYTHING in common, but common ground is needed. : )..I am always looking for a new friend to hangout with. I am 22 with my first baby on the way! I can't obviously go clubbing but I would LOVE to find someone to do a monthly pamper day and go get pedicures together or something!

Nicole --- 15 years ago -

Guy I think was just asking about kids. That's one of my first questions with people. There is a bit of a difference in time schedules and lifestyle between people with kids and those without sometimes. I know with me, when my friends who dont have kids want to go to a movie or something that it can be hard because of finding a sitter aspect. Anywho, back to topic-I have two kids (ages 1 and 2). It's hard to make friends sometimes-especially if there is only one car or if you have kids. A lot of people on here ask about making friends...have you thought about maybe going and hanging out at TLF playground? Or if not military going to an offbase playground or playgroup? suffolkchildrencentres.com is a good site too. Im open to hanging out too. :) Message me -Im near RAF Lakenheath and a young mom too.

Nicole --- 15 years ago -

Aww come on Cassie! Cant go clubbing with a baby on the way?? Why not?? ;P

Cassie --- 15 years ago -

Haha Hmm.. im SOOOO round they'd tell me to leave LOL.. not to mention my feet are swollen lol

Susan --- 15 years ago -
